This building is 32 thousand windows, 78 elevators a total area of 350,000 m², 88 floors and a maximum height of 452 meters. It is based on a traditional motif in Islamic culture, a star of 12 peaks. The tower provides 560.000 square meters of free space.

Another interesting fact is that the towers are in a permanent window and outside cleaning,because they start to wash the towers from the bottom and when they arrive to the top of the tower the rest of it is dirty again so they have to start again and keep washing all the time.

On September 1 of 2009 the urban climber, Alain "Spiderman" Robert, sacaled to the top of the tower using only his bare hands and feet under just 2 hours. His two previus effort ended in arrest. The first one on March 20, 1997 in the 60th floor. The other one was exactly 10 years later in the same floor but in the other tower.

The petronas towers were designed by Cesar Pelli an american-argentine architect, they took 7 years to be built and they were finished in 1998, they were the tallest buildings in the world until the construction of the Taipei 101. They are placed in Kuala Lumpur,Malaysia .
This buldings were built on the world's deepest foundations. the towers are made of concret, steel and glass, but becouse of the lack of steel and its huge cost of importation, the towers were constructed on super high-strenght reinforcement of concrete.
